Announcements from the Church
- COFFEE HOUR TODAY: following worship. Please join us downstairs for coffee and treats.
- Pork Chop dinner: was a big success! We served over 330 meals. Thank you to everyone who pitched in and volunteered by cooking, serving, or cleaning. We could not have done it without you! And an especially big THANK YOU to Kathleen Schneewind for organizing the event.
- Operation Christmas Child – St. John’s youth will be packing boxes for OCC in November. Please save your shoeboxes with lids for this project. More information about the project will be distributed in September.
- Anniversary Display Items: Michelle is working on getting pictures and display items back to their owners. Some items are still in the display case.
- Confirmation: for this upcoming week: will be moved from Wednesday night September 28 to Sunday October 2nd following worship. (due to scheduling conflicts).
- World Communion Sunday: Ocotber 2nd, when we will celebrate communion with Christians in a global context.
- Pastor Cathy’s Installation: Sunday, October 9th during the regular 9:15am worship. Brunch will follow the service.

- Consistory Meeting: Wednesday October 5th at 5:30pm
- Women’s Guild: Monday, October 10th at 6pm
Announcements for the Community
OPEN TABLE at Waconia Moravian Church. Last Wednesday of each month, 5:30 – 6:15 pm there will a free community meal and fellowship time. All are welcome.
