We will kick off the 2021 Lenten season with an Ash Wednesday Service on February 17th at 6pm. It will be both in-person and live-streaming on Facebook. Our Blessings Calendar also start on February 17th, which is in lieu of the traditional collection we’ve done in-person for the SW Carver foodshelf.
During the season, we will also be sharing weekly messages which include thoughtfully focused and curated video reflections, spiritual practices, readings, creative/art activities, games, community service projects, justice and advocacy opportunities, and more. This season, we also have 3 Confirmands who will be completing their education and receiving the Rite of Confirmation on Sunday, March 28th at 915am. We have special events planned to celebrate this wonderful moment in their faith journey.
On Maundy Thursday, we are planning for our annual Soup Supper at 530pm, before the service on April 1st at 630pm and the First Communion for our Confirmands.
Our plans to celebrate Easter are a bit different this year. We will have both in-person and live-streaming worship on Sunday, April 4th at 915am. However, we won’t be serving a community breakfast.
