Announcements for May 8, 2016

  • Welcome Marty and Hannah Rademacher and their family to our church family! It is a blessing to have you join us as members at St. John’s.
  • Happy Mother’s Day! The flowers handed out today are from the Sunday School and Joyce Willems. The kids will be handing out the flowers not just to mothers, but also grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and all special ladies. The 24 pink flowers represent Joyce’s 24 years of being a breast cancer survivor. She was first diagnosed in 1992 and again in 2012. She and her family have been walking in the “Race for the Cure” since it started 24 years ago, and will continue to support the fight against breast cancer. She also wishes to thank those who have donated to the walk. If anyone else is interested in donating or walking, you can contact her directly or visit her site.
  • During the month of May, the loose offerings will be donated to Ron Bachmann’s GoFundMe account. The church will be making a matching donation up to $500. If you write a check, make sure to note that it is for the fund.
