Food Drive
St. John’s helps to staff and stock local food shelves by participating Minnesota Food Share month. During the month of March, SJUCC volunteers donate their time at the Southwest Carver County Food Shelf, located in NYA.
Every March, we also collect food, needed personal items, and monetary donations. As part of the MN FoodShare Campaign, the Southwest Carver County Food Shelf also receives a percentage match of all donations received in March.
In November 2022, we hosted “His By Grace” in a special concert, followed by a Pie Social. Free will donations of $686 were collected and donated to the Southwest Carver County Food Shelf.
Throughout the year, we also sponsor two at home collections: Blessings Lent Calendar and Advent Calendar. Print out a list a collect and donate to an organization near your home, work, or school.
