Ways to Give

God has blessed each of us with gifts of time, talent, and financial resources (treasure). It is up to us to act as good stewards for what He has given us.

Time

Our Church offers many opportunities to give of our time, beyond attending worship. Some options include: helping with office tasks, setting up for special events, cleaning up after special events, and more. Contact the church office for more details.

Talent

Do you have a special talent for baking? Sewing? Crunching numbers? Conversation? Each of us has a talent for something that the church or the wider community needs. For ideas, check out the Time and Talent Opportunities section of the monthly SJUCC Bongards Buzz eNewsletter. Or ask Pastor Scott or Michelle Bachmann, our Consistory President, where you might fit in. We have a place for everyone!

Treasure

Our ministries, programs, staff, building, and community also depend on financial resources. Giving money is another way for us to return to God a portion of what He gives to us. Our congregation takes seriously the responsibility to be a good steward of these resources, as we support the work of St. John’s and the wider church and community.
