Just like the mighty oak starts as a small sprout, so does the spiritual growth of every Christian. Nurturing spiritual growth is also a vital part of our church community. While being “Rooted in Tradition” and “Thriving in life,” we want to discover new ways to freshen our praise power, engage our young families, and encourage “sprouts” of faith to grow.Starting Sunday, September 11th, we will have in-person, faith formation Sunday school for children ages 4 to 10 years old during 915am worship using the “Growing in God’s Love” curriculum by Westminster John Knox Press.
This fall, our themes will be:
- Who is Jesus?
- The Parables of Jesus
- The Birth of Jesus
Children will attend the beginning of our worship service with their parents or guardians, and then after the “Children’s Sermon” they will be invited to Fellowship Hall for the lessons.
