Congregation Meeting: TODAY after worship to discuss Pastor profiles and vote on a Pastor.
Bongards Market: Openers and Closers are needed. A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.
John’s to be featured on US Farm Report’s “Country Church Salute” segment: Sunday, June 12^th around 630am on channel 45 and RFD-TV http://www.rfdtv.com. The program will highlight St. John’s history, our 150^th celebration, and include some photos of the church.
Next Women’s Guild Meeting: Monday, June 13^th at 6pm.
150^th Anniversary displays and artifact set up: Thursday, June 16^th at 6pm.
150^th Anniversary Celebration: Sunday, June 26^th at 10am.
NEEDED for the ANNIVERSARY: Someone to record the celebration on June 26th. We have a video camera, but need someone to operate it. Also, the committee has decided to publish the memory book AFTER the celebration so we can include photos from the service. We need a few proof- readers. Contact Michelle Bachmann if you can help with either task.
Vacation Sunday: No services July 3^rd, Communion will be held July 10^th.
Next Consistory Meeting: Wednesday, July 6th at 430pm.
Next Faith and Fellowship Meeting: TBD
Vacation Bible School: July 24^th to 28^th, 6pm to 8pm. Spread the word! Children entering Kindergarten to 5^th grade are welcome. Cost is FREE.
Youth Pizza Party: In lieu of an outing, a pizza party will be held Thursday, July 28^th at 6pm for VBS and Confirmation families.
