Announcements and Messages for the Community

Mission and Outreach in December.  Pick up a Blessings Advent Calendar and participate at home.  There’s still time to participate.  Add an item each day to a box to be donated to the food shelf.  You can deliver the box yourself or contact Michelle Bachmann for help with delivery.    

Operation Christmas.  SJUCC participated in Central schools “Operation Christmas” program again this year.  Our cash donation was pooled together with other donations to buy gifts for 14 families in need, which totaled over 50 children.  A majority of the items were warm weather gear like boots, coats, snow pants, sweatshirts, and sweatpants.  However, each child will also receive at least 1 or 2 toys.

The Word To Go:  Find Sunday morning worship services, led by Pastor Shuji, on our YouTube channel, St. John’s UCC-Bongards.

One Consistory Team Opening:  This is great time to get involved in the process and contribute to shaping St. John’s future.  If you are interested in joining the team, we’d love to have you.  Please contact Michelle Bachmann or Pastor Shuji.
