Announcements and Messages for the Community

How to Be a Worship Reader.  Readers of sacred texts have always played important roles in faith communities. This participatory one-hour class will provide you with a bit of historical look into the role of readers in worship service, how to become familiar with texts in private, and how to embrace and assume readers’ roles in public. We will read selected texts from the lectern during the session. Contact Pastor Shuji for more details.

Bongards Farmers Market Volunteers Wanted.  Volunteers are needed to assist with setting-up and/or closing the market alongside our dedicated market team.  Contact Vicki Moteelall at 612-710-0508 if interested.  

St. John’s Got Talent.  Calling all singers and musicians!  We want your special talents to provide music for our Sunday Worship on August 8th.
