Announcements and Messages for the Community
Church Profile Completed and Settled Part-Time Pastor Search has begun. At the end of July, the Pastoral Search Committee completed the required profile and submitted it to the MN UCC conference. It has been posted to the national and local UCC job boards. In August, the committee is meeting with the MN UCC Steward of Search and Call regarding the search process and next steps.
Womens Guild Trip. Start your morning with a visit to the Carver County Historical Society followed by make your own chocolates at Laketown Chocolates. Cost is $17 and limited to vaccinated individuals. A breakfast or lunch stop to be added. (Watch for details.) Sign up on the bulletin. Contact Karen Otto for more details and/or ride share.
How to Be a Worship Reader. This participatory one-hour class will provide you with a bit of historical look into the role of readers in worship service, how to become familiar with texts in private, and how to embrace and assume readers’ roles in public. We will read selected texts from the lectern during the session. Contact Pastor Shuji for more details.
