Announcements and Messages for the Community
Sponsor a Poinsettia. We will supporting Southern Valley Alliance’s by participating in their Poinsettia fundraiser again. If you’re interested in sponsoring a poinsettia in honor or in memory of a loved one, to be displayed in our sanctuary throughout the Advent season, a sign-up is in the Narthex. The cost is $25/plant. Money and orders must be to Michelle Bachmann by October 27th.
Kids N Cookies. New this fall is our all-ages faith program. The program will include scripture readings, fun activities, and of course cookies! It will be short, about 15 to 20 minutes. For more details and ways to get involved, contact Bill or Mary Hudson.
Consistory Team Openings: Called to lead? There are 2 consistory team openings. In 2022, we will also have 2 additional openings. Please contact Michelle Bachmann or Pastor Shuji if interested.
Sign Coordinators Wanted: Want to share your inspiration and witty sayings with the rest of the world? Be part of our 212 Sign Team. We have the following months open: January, February, April, August and October. Pick one month or several. Team up and do it with a friend! Contact Michelle Bachmann if you’re interested.
The Word To Go: Find Sunday morning worship services, led by Pastor Shuji, on our YouTube channel, St. John’s UCC-Bongards. Worship will also be live-streamed on Facebook, when available. Also, on our website, look for Sermons4kids which includes scripture lessons and fun activities.
