Announcements and Messages for the Community

Blessings Advent Calendar.  Thank you to everyone who participated in our Blessings Advent Calendar to collect items for our local food shelves.   

Recipient of our Christmas Eve offering.  The Consistory Team has designated the offering collected on Christmas Eve to be donated to Feed My Starving Children.  The collection plate is near the entrance to the sanctuary.  Thank you for your generosity!

Special Meeting Notice:  A special meeting is being called by the Consistory Team to vote on the Pastoral Candidate.  To be held Sunday, Jan. 9^th at 11am in Fellowship Hall following worship and “Meet and Greet.”

Share. Grow. Shine! Make sure you write ways you’ve shared your faith or grown your faith this week on a card and place it in the offering plate to be collected and celebrated. Fill our collective lantern and shine St. John’s light!

Kids N Cookies. Everyone is invited to our all-ages faith program.  It includes scripture readings, fun activities, and of course cookies!  We meet in Fellowship Hall. To be a scripture reader or sponsor cookies treats, contact Bill or Mary Hudson.  

Looking for a church family?  This is the season of the year which can be a time of reflection. 212 Sign Coordinators Needed:  Share your inspiration and witty sayings with the rest of the world.  We have the following months open:  January, February, April, August and October.  Pick one month or several.  Contact Michelle Bachmann if you’re interested.

Facilities Caretaker Needed.  Our sanctuary and grounds are a blessing.  However, keeping up with coordinating maintenance, cleaning, and repairs is more than the Consistory Team can handle.  We are in need of a dedicated person to coordinate the efforts.  Contact a Consistory Team member if you’re interested.
