Soup for the Soul – September 12, 2024

Hope everyone is having a great week. We will begin really digging into the Gospel of John this week. 

 

For those of us that have the guides, I encourage everyone to read  Part 2, The Prologue,(Pages 10-16). 

 

Our Basic Bible References for the week are:

 

Genesis 1:1-5 (The beginning of the Six Days of Creation and the Sabbath)

Colossians 1:15-16 (The beginning of The Supremacy of Christ)

John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.” Our Question(s) of the Week is: “What does it mean to you that God through Jesus took on human form and lived amongst us? How do you see both grace and truth in the ministry of Jesus? How do we balance these in our own lives? How does receiving grace affect your relationship with God and with others?”
