Soup for the Soul – September 19, 2024

 

Hope everyone is well. Thank you to all that helped both at the picnic and at Mary Jane’s funeral. It means so much that we are able to come together.  

 

We continue on in John 1 this week and begin Part 3, Come and See, in our guide. Read the Summary through And More Disciples (Pp 18-22) in the guide. Our Basic Bible References for the Week are:

 

John 1:19-51 (The Testimony of John the Baptist; The Lamb of God; The First Disciples of Jesus; and Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael.)

 

Genesis 28:12, 17 (Part of Jacob’s Dream at Bethel)

 

 

We talked last week that it is always good when you think about our readings and discussion and it comes back to mind later in the week. One thing that I continue to think about is how important God’s grace is to our lives and how I feel that I should pass it along to others. Anything coming to mind about last week or the coming week?
