Soup for the Soul – March 6, 2025

We are moving on to Part 8, Life and Death, in our guide (attached). Please read from the Summary through Jesus and Mary (Pp 66-69). Our Basic Bible reference for the week is: 

 

John 11:1-37 (The Death of Lazarus; Jesus the Resurrection and the Life; and Jesus Weeps).

 

We will be getting into John’s writings on his friend Lazaras death and how that affects his friends and his two sisters, Mary and Martha. At verse 25 Jesus makes the statement, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes will never die.” Our Question(s) of the Week is: “Does this shape the way you live your daily life? Are there specific ways can you demonstrate faith in Jesus as the source of life and hope in your current circumstances or relationships?”
