Soup for the Soul – Off for the Summer

 

We will be off for the summer. Many of us have work to do and other activities that come up during the summer months. 

 

I pray that everyone has a great summer and that everyone stays healthy and well. Thank you for adding your part and being the essential ingredients in our collaborative experience. Everyone of you has so much wisdom. You share your own knowledge and insights which make this a special group. I hope that our discussions have had meaning and even more that your faith has grown in being together in the Word. 

 

 

As we prepare to pause our Bible Study for the summer months,
we thank You for the light You have shone into our hearts
through Your Word and through one another.
Thank You for the insights gained, the friendships deepened,
and the faith nurtured in our time together.

Though our meetings may pause, Your presence never does.
Let Your light continue to shine in us and through us, even in seasons of rest and renewal. Help us to carry what we’ve learned into our daily lives— to be witnesses of the true Light that gives light to everyone.

Watch over each of us in the weeks ahead. Grant us good and productive work, safe travels, meaningful rest, and opportunities to be your faithful followers in new and unexpected ways. And when we return, may we gather again with renewed hunger for Your Word and with hearts ready to receive grace upon grace.

I will miss our time together and look forward to us being together again.
