Soup for the Soul – October 2, 2025

Good morning all, 

 

I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer. I have missed our discussions! We will meet this Thursday at 6:00pm on either Zoom or in person at Fellowship Hall. 

 

I know that some of us may not be able to make it and we have been off for a while but on the other hand, some of you let me know that you are missing this group. I am thinking that we can get started again by reviewing some of the material we have covered in John. This will allow those who will be working on harvest to pick back up where we left off in the spring. 

 

So let’s go back to the beginning (as far as the Gospel goes). Please re-read Chapter 2 in the guide (pp. 10-16). Our basic bible references are: 

 

John 1:1-18 

Genesis 1:1-5

Colossians 1:15-16 

 

Our question of the week is:  “If Jesus is the Word made flesh, how are we called to embody God’s Word in our church and community today?”
