Soup for the Soul – October 23, 2025

 

Thank you to those who were able to attend last week’s discussion. We always have good and oftentimes spirited discussions. David told me that they were on schedule for completing the harvest by the end of the month. Although I am sure today’s rain is not going to help. 

 

We will move our review to Chapter 4 of John this week. Read from the Woman of Samaria to the end of chapter 4 in the guide (pp 32-34). Our basic bible reference for this week is: 

 

John 4:1-42 (Jesus and the Woman of Samaria) 

 

 After meeting Jesus, the Samaritan woman couldn’t keep silent—she left her water jar behind and ran to tell others what she had found. Our Questions of the Week are: What about us? Where in our lives are we being called to share what Christ has done for us? What ‘jar’ might we need to set down—fear, hesitation, shame, or self-doubt—so that we can freely invite others to ‘come and see’ the living water that has changed my life?”
