Highway System Harms, Impacts, and Mitigation Study – April 28, 2026

Norwood-Young America Community- 

We are helping to facilitate a listening study, sponsored by the Met Council, for our area regarding the impacts of Highway 212. The goals of this listening session are to:

• Explore the historical impacts of regional highways.
• Connect with people impacted by highways. This includes people who had to move, who have gotten sick, or who have lost money because of the highways.
• Determine opportunities to improve planning and development processes going forward, including ways to make highways less harmful to nearby communities.
