What I can expect when worshiping at St. John’s United Church of Christ?

What is a typical the worship service like?
- Service Length: our service length is approximately 50 minutes long.
- Worship Songs: we incorporate up to 4 hymns during the worship service.
- Meditation: Pastoral messages last about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Offering: we pass a collection plate during the service and offer a QR code for secure online & cashless giving. You are under no obligation to give as a guest.
- Communion: Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. St. John’s practices “open communion,” which means that all are welcome at our table. “Fruit of the vine” white grape juice, red wine, and cracker or bread are offered.
Do you offer online worship services and events?
- Yes, we live-stream our services via Facebook. Information can be found on our page, St. John’s UCC of Bongards, event calendar, or Sunday Sneak Peek posting. Worship guides are also available in the Sunday Sneak Peek.
- We also use Sermons4kids.com for our children’s online children’s sermon and in-person activities.
- Our Adult Bible Fellowship is offered in a hybrid format, in-person or online.
