Our gratitude and thanks to you from Pastor Cathy and the Consistory Team for your support as we lead SJUCC, with God’s grace, through these unprecedented times.
We have made plans for church to remained closed until May 31st, based on guidance from the MN UCC conference. All services, meetings and events will continue virtually as best we can.
Worship and opportunities for spiritual moments will be offered online with a variety of podcasts, videos, and inspirational messages. Outlets will include our:
- Youtube channel
- SJUCC Website, and
- Facebook page (note: you do not need a Facebook account to view our page because it is public.)
The Consistory will continue to meet via video conference calls. Confirmation classes were already meeting virtually for part of their instruction, so they were well-prepared. Also, at the end of the month, I’m going to try a video Zoom conference for a short Bongards Book club meeting. Women’s Guild and Pajama Story Time have both been paused.
As we have more information, we will continue to communicate it with you via email, phone call, and/or US mail. Our Bongards Buzz Newsletter archive is also available online with additional information.
