There was a slight misunderstanding regarding the intended message of one of our most recent sign sayings. We’ve made some edits to reflect how we wanted the message to be understood.
However, did our message also make you think? Church is more than a building. It’s a community of faith, with believers who support one another through life’s spiritual journey. As Pastor Scott says, “No matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome at St. John’s United Church of Christ.”
So, if our sign made you laugh…great! If it made you think about your faith journey…even better! This Easter (but really, any time) you are welcome at St. John’s. If you have another faith community that you decide to connect with, God welcomes you there, too.
